Qualifications / Experience Required

Professional experience in NGOs or any other agency dealing with human rights and legal and PIIM engagement. A degree will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of international human rights standards, especially the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the UN Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights, and IFC Performance Standards.
Eight years of relevant professional experience in extractive industries, including considerable experience in developing economies and international organizations.
Good track record of working experience with lender-financed projects, including IFC & Equator Principles IV. East Africa experience required.
