QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED The candidate must have:

scientific training with a postgraduate qualification in marine ecology/biology, environmental management, natural resources, fisheries science, marine conservation;
experience in ecological data collection and analysis is also required as well as comprehensive report-writing skills.
Strong management and technical skills, application of scientific methods, an attention to detail, a team player, a proactive approach with ability to offer structured guidance
A minimum of 10 years relevant working experience
A working knowledge of the small-scale fisheries and marine sector and related ecosystem restoration experience are an advantage especially in tropical marine ecosystems. Scuba diving qualifications are an advantage.
