Responsibilities:
Must have good knowledge on GAAP & Accounting Standards
Ensure that all cash, cheques etc, are deposited in safes and that the revenue collected is banked on daily basis in accordance with Bem Motors Limited Policies.
Ensure revenue entries have been posted correctly in the company accounting system (PASTEL Partner).
Collection of bank statements for all revenue bank accounts and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Monitor stock of accountable documents, banking slips, ledger sheets and other necessary documents are available at all times for easy operation of the department.
Assist with internal & external audits.
Assist with preparation of annual budget.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Must be a paid up member of ZICA.
Minimum 2 years’ experience.
