Role and Responsibilities:
The role and responsibilities are wide and varying due to the location and environment. They include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensuring that all cutlery, crockery, pots, serving utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed thoroughly to provide chefs with clean tools to run the kitchen efficiently.
Cleaning of kitchen floors, walls, surfaces, fridges, and shelves.
Washing aprons and kitchen towels.
Disposing of kitchen waste, Preparation of game drive morning tea boxes.
Role requirements:
Grade Twelve
Elementary Level: Reading and Writing
Must be enthusiastic, hardworking, and efficient
Must be a fast learner with an interest in kitchen work
Ability to work under pressure
