Grade 12 School Certificate
Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting
Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ CIMA/ZICA
Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants ZICA
At least 5 years post qualification experience.

Qualifications/Requirements

Full Grade Twelve (12) certificate.
Certified with ACCA, CIMA, ZICA or equivalent.

Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
Member of Institute of Internal Auditors.
Certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors such as CIA, CISA, CISSP or any other information System.
At least 7 years’ experience in Internal Audit of which at least 5 years should be at Head of Department level.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare financial reports, business activity report and financial forecast
Ensure that the organisation’s financial records and record keeping methods are in compliance
Manage employees and contractors who are responsible for financial reporting and budgeting

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all accounting operations.
Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Manage budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
Monitor day-to-day financial transactions and record-keeping.
Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
Must be the member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants(ZICAs).
Minimum 4 years’ experience in accounting.

Design and put into action a thorough internal audit plan for Dangote Cement.
Supervise a group of internal auditors to guarantee efficient and successful audits.
Offer strategic advice and suggestions to top management based on audit discoveries.

Educational Qualification:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
MSc. in Accounting or MBA would be considered a plus.
Professional Qualification:
Minimum of Associate Level Membership of the following professional bodies is a MUST: Certified Institute of Auditors (CIA), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or associated certifications.
