Key Responsibilities

Support engineering works for effective cost management in maintenance, renovations and construction.
Provide BOQs for proposed works, at design and contracting stage.
Advise on cost effective maintenance of residential and other properties.
Ensure that all works are signed off against the BOQ’s and the appropriate standards as agreed in a works contract.
Ensure best practice quantity surveying practices to deliver cost effective installations without compromising quality.
Adhere to in-Country SHERQ standards and promote world class safety practices
Qualifications and Experience

Full grade 12 Certificate
Bachelor’s degree in building science or quantity surveying or construction management (with training in measurements)
Preferably 3 years’ experience in industrial installations or building services.
Ability to accurately interpret drawings and clients need

Accountabilities:

Ensure that all sites assigned to them are visited and assessed to identify possible service location for setting up Jaza Hub or Shop
Perform all necessary steps identified for the acquisition of a site (site assessment, leasing, renovation and Installation
Through following the well outlined steps in the acquisition process keep the rework rate for any acquisition actions at ≤5%.

Visit sites and fill out site assessments for possible service locations approvals
Negotiate on lease, ensuring to stay within set budget
Issue lease and ensure proper documentation and filling of all associated paperwork
