QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Postgraduate or professional certification (e.g., CIM, Digital Marketing, PR/Media Relations) is an added advantage).
3-5 years of experience in a communications or marketing role within the banking or financial services sector.
Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media analytics, and Google Workspace.

To succeed in this role, you must be/have:
Degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations/Social Sciences or equivalent qualification.
At least three years of previous experience in advocacy, communications, media relations.
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of how to successfully communicate and engage with the public.
Previous experience or knowledge of working for SRHR an added advantage.
Prior experience coordinating and working with coalitions or advocacy networks.

Professional Experience:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience (post-Masters) in communications and advocacy at the national or international level, including experience in media relations;
Experience in online outreach and multimedia is an asset;
Experience working in large development agency is also pertinent;
Good IT skills, including databases and office software packages;
Experience in the use various social media platforms
Familiarity with public health issues
Outstanding oral and written communications and editing skills, with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience and ability to work in a team and in a multi-cultural set- up;
Good listening and communication skills with sensitivity to cultural communication differences
